It was a satire. the second season seems to be playing more straight which is another problem with it. 

What I realized is that season one worked because it focused on the women and their lives with the crime being in the background. Season two focuses on the crime with the women and their lives being in the background so it comes off very law and order-y with just way better actors.

I didn’t understand the hype behind Hereditary and I loved this one. 

You can hate the Fast movies, you can also love Stuber, which looks bad in my opinion. None of that matters, it’s more that Bautista wants to shit on those movies when he’s making movies of equal or less quality. It just makes him seem like an ass and a hypocrite.

I agree that Stuber looks like Central Intelligence, but not in the way you mean. In the “they’re both terrible movies” way.
