Brunei is 4,000 miles from the Middle East.

Bill Buckner, God rest his soul, cringed at that error.

It’s too bad the wagon was killed because so many people are out of touch. I may need to buy a Sportwagen TDI soon so it can make my dreams come true, especially since I might become a family man someday.

I bought a GTI with a manual and if they had one as a wagon I would’ve gotten that.

Yeah it’s not nearly exactly like his RS7 at all.

I say this as a life long Mets fan, whose day to day mood is unfortunately partially dictated by the team: This is not at all surprising. This sort of dysfunction has been steady through several GMs, managers, and rosters. The mood of the team for years has been a place where good players go for their careers to die.

The stock market actually did pretty well if you got in starting spring 2009.

I actually did learn that stuff in high school, but I guess not everyone is so lucky.

Sometimes it depends on how cheap it is to use someone else’s money via financing. My financial advisor always suggests (for me) to borrow money when it’s cheap vs. taking money out of the investment market.

I recently purchased a new Honda Pilot. I hate having a car loan and COULD have purchased it for all cash. But

I humbly submit that someone buying a $40k+ car should be past thinking in terms of monthly budgets. The primary concern should be cost of capital.

As for financing a 40+ year old car.... honestly it depends on your belief values will rise.... which is unlikely. As the boomers die, my opinion is the 60s/70s muscle car era bubble is gonna burst hard.

As a resident of South Carolina, I don’t mind paying a reasonable document fee to avoid having to deal with the jackholery that is the SCDMV.

Wyclef Jean would beg to differ.

...they had already run our credit and shopped our application to various banks (which caused numerous hits to our credit reports)

So ... the Auckland thing.

We rented a Dacia Duster 4x4 diesel with a stick shift! Kinda pokey but I enjoyed driving it. Iceland is so beautiful, we never left the main roads but some of the smaller roads in Iceland are not paved. Having said that I am sure we could have gotten all the places we went with any common rental car in Iceland. That

I got a Renault Master camper from a local rental company.

Virtually every modern car has an electronic speed limiter, in the interest of safety. Some are higher and some re lower than 112mph.

You could read the article Budd. He already fixed it once when a yaris bumped it. Then it happened again. Maybe he doesn't want to do it again. Jesus and then you have the nerve to comment like a dick when your the problem.

It seems like you are unable/unwilling to understand the notion that someone can enjoy a car without fretting about the car being perfect and pristine. That’s really the answer to your 10000 questions. A guy likes the F40, bought one, drives it and enjoys it and doesn’t make it a priority to fix every little scratch.
