Exactly this. Beyond just a car, they’re selling a service. That service is convenience. And there are a lot of people willing to pay for convenience.

Buy low, sell high.
You don’t seem to understand ‘investing’ or ‘opportunity cost’
It’s amazing to think that when I was a kid child seats weren’t really a thing and I’m only 38.
If you think a corner worker can’t tell the difference between a recovery where you hold the slide and an intentional drift you’ve got another thing coming. But regardless the rule for most trackdays is once you’ve passed a certain degree of slip is to not save it but go both feet in. Granted that’s usually once…
The problem is that you’re on track with a bunch of other people. The dirty little secret of track days is that lots of people there aren’t technically insured while on track.
A track day is not for drifting. Period. It’s not teaching the skills to do it, other drivers aren’t expecting it, and being the only one doing it makes you look sorta dumb.
Nice powersliding, sure... but they deserved the black flags they got. If they want to do that, go to their local drift event where its sanctioned. That type of driving has no place at a public track day. I’m not entirely sure what they expected as they assuredly had to sit through a driver’s meeting and received some…
Start vaping, get a flat-peak baseball cap and go to a drift event, track days are not for drifting, they never have been and they never will be. He may not like it, but nearly all track day organizers are unanimous about this sort of thing.
Valuation of Uber is a joke. It will implode once the subsidies end.
And those stupid puddle lights with the logo...they’re really reaching.
Am I the only one that thinks the illuminated star is a stupid feature invented for the conceited and vain?
Totally a personal opinion, but I feel that the shorter wheel base on the VW gave it tighter handling and it moved better on winding roads. I also use the ECO drive on the v60 which does not exactly allow me to tear off at a light, but I am trying to make up the difference in MPG.
Sorry for the late reply. They were absolutely motivated to move it, they are interested in making room for the v90. I paid about $6500 below MSRP and found the best deal by going through there website. They had to get me a car from a dealer a few states away, but in July I was still able to get what I wanted.
Four badges. FOUR. WHY? PZEV? Really? I de-badged mine...
Remember these on Pontiacs and possibly other GM cars?
I would give you a negative star if I could.
You can have a star.
Wow, so that’s what happened to a whole generation.
This seriously can’t be a genuine question, can it?
