Chances are the recording is 'real' as in there is a recording, it exists. However it is very unlikely that the recording is what it purports to be. There's all sorts of reasons why that would be so but there are some purely practical reasons.

One pays for some of the apps. I paid for the Android app that runs on my fone and tablets and the Windows 8 app for my laptops. There is a premium option but right now I don't have it as it offers nothing I need. Plex is like having my own tv channel available wherever I go.

He is using the auto-focus version of a lens I used to use exclusively with my Canon 35mm cameras. If I wanted to generalise to include people living from Canada to Chile then I'd have used 'Americans' I was referring specifically to people living in the United States of America, hence USAians.
