Yup. I was looking at cars last spring and kept coming across their cars and was like, “what the hell is going on here, something is super fishy about this” and would immediately disregard any car that said it was for sale by vroom.

Go on auto trader, find any car, if it’s from vroom, you have no idea where the car is actually located. I emailed Torch a while ago about this, and he said there was an article coming.

this van sucks

you must be fun at parties.

It’s what Principal Skinner would do.

“We’ve tried nothing, and we’re all out of ideas”

It’s amazing. Like, I would do it, just email me the copy, I’ll read it out loud (which is the key here) and make sure the syntax and sentences flow. I’ll write back, looks good! or “hey, theres a typo, let’s change it”.

that whole tie in was just so odd. There’s gotta be a good story behind it. [googles for 10 seconds]

america is fundamentally corrupt, and systemically racist.

In the US, no one working at the DMV would; 1: Notice, and 2. Care.

“people are talking about that If you have a car that costs more than 40 thousand dollars, mandating a device in your car that sends the amount of miles you drive to the state. Then the government taxes you based on the miles you drive”

boomers went from joyful 25 year olds to cutthroat about to be 30 year olds.

Came for this. I have a first gen leaf, plug it in overnight on 110v every 6-9 days or so (I do not drive far and take full advantage of regeneration and hills) Even if the battery shows 15 miles when I plug it in, its at full bars by morning.

get a honda, most of their models have them.

Cool jetta!

No. I’m not a morally bankrupt grifter.

Also, the cost savings from getting rid of “fare officers” and the related BS that comes with it makes a ton of sense.
