GenX here. the C8 is in fact, good. The fact that (anecdotally one) boomer hates it is going to be KEY in getting young people to change their mind.

I had a ‘91 XLT with the same shitty auto locking hubs that eventually turned into dust, replaced them with manual Warn hubs. Eventually the heads cracked with 120K on the clock and I sold it to a junkyard.
