You know, this is the first season in MotoGP history where 8 different riders have won races. Ducati, Suzuki, and two satellite riders in the mix, all at the same time. It’s made for some unpredictable and crazy-awesome racing.

I was just being facetious with that bit.
Ooo, Leader of Diesel Competence. He knew what was going on. Clearly he was important.
Is it, though?
Best school snacks? Everything on that list but the cheese was “graded” a C+ or worse. That’s 8/9 with a below average grade.
No - I am saying it was negligence that resulted in this; it was not an accident.
I only made the comment to highlight that there were a number of negligent factors in this scenario. Subcontractor or otherwise, it’s not relevant. Some group of people made poor decisions which led to this event; it was no accident.
A 20 year old was driving a flat-bed loaded with enough explosives to level a home and kill the woman inside; which they did.
We’re not debating the word “autonomous”. You’d be correct in thinking an autonomous vehicle is completely self-driving, because that’s the definition of autonomous.
Nitpick? You mean in the same way that you are nitpicking the term “Autopilot” in its use to describe Tesla’s system?
An aircraft’s autopilot requires a heavily trained pilot to be at the helm, not someone who just pulled their license out of a cereal box.
No, hell to that idea. That we need to keep lowering the bar to accommodate the weakest link is why we can’t have nice things.
It does not require a “constant hands-on”. The system prompts the driver to put their hands on the wheel after so much time has passed, because the system is designed to encourage the very vigilance which is required when using an autopilot system.
...automakers and marketers need to figure out how to sell these emerging technologies without overselling them. Tesla’s Autopilot, for example, probably shouldn’t be called that since it’s... not.
What if? If it’s a choice between dying now or dying later, I’ll take dying later.
It’s understandable that anyone would try and save their stuff in this situation.
The winning side.
Clearly, the P1 has too many seats. Three seats is the most seats any Mclaren can have if it is to be a true successor to the F1.
It wasn’t just Tesla that made the call to not release this information. They disclosed the incident to the NHTSA, as they were required to, who also sat on the details for a suspicious and convenient amount of time.
Volkswagen is cheating! Their cars are too clean!
