I got genuinely sad when I read this and then I realised that as a child I always watched Rugrats dubbed in Spanish and therefore the voice I associate with her isn't hers at all. Still really sad news even if I can't associate it to my memories, of course. RIP.

I hate Fest because working in education (and living in Europe) means I can't ever take the time off to go there. I wish it happened in Easter/summer/Christmas.

I like strung out. The last time I saw them they asked the crowd what they wanted. They meant songs but I screamed "a beer" and they passed me one. Respect.

I travelled to Trier (Germany) to see Great Cynics, Cheap Girls and Joyce Manor. We got locked in a Belgian train on our way there, but it was still worth it.

I've been watching High Fidelity and Say Anything, and the best part is that it was for research, so I didn't even feel guilty for not being productive.
