I definitely remember somewhere hearing a Republican who intermittently wore a mask and got Covid try to blame it on the couple of hours he was wearing the mask rather than all the time he wasn’t. Cause and effect are difficult concepts for this party (see: all of their freaking policy stances)

By voting for Trump she ensured those policies came to fruition. Trump voters are 100% to blame for his actions in office.

There’s an argument for moving Christmas for the same reason. All the hype centers around enjoying Winter, which is hard to enjoy. For most Americans there’s still 2 - 3 months of freezing dark weather to get through after 12/25

Just want to point out that not liking pumpkin spice lattes is not actually a personality trait in the same way liking them isn’t.

Of course people who live in the colder parts of the US don’t view 40 degrees and snowy (common on Thanksgiving in New England) as winter weather. That’s just as much Fall and Spring weather as it is Winter weather.

I have to majorly disagree here. The aesthetic and foods served at Thanksgiving make it entirely Fall and not Winter. Thanksgiving marks the end of Fall the way Labor Day marks the end of Summer.

Well there aren’t many (any?) prizes given specifically to non-binary authors. If a non-binary author is comfortable being included in a contest for women writers and writes about topics relevant to women and female experiences it seems like a perfectly appropriate place for them to submit.
