unless rick knew negan would kill carl if he didn't make the decision in like 3 seconds or something.. just so much more they could have done. really disappointed with the entire thing.

the whole build up with andrew and the chick that plays maggie talking about how horrible the ending was when now it seems like they don't even know who died.. makes the audience feel like dupes. Big Boring Finale. Have maggie's baby die and become a baby zombie and start eating her from the inside out.. anything.…

If the writers had any balls they would have had rick being forced to chose which person got killed or negan would kill carl.

I honestly don't even think the writer's know who they killed.
