It’s not like they’re repeating the same thing over and over. Each of these episodes covers a different aspect of Pearl’s life. It’s just that so much of her life is colored by Rose. “Rose’s Scabbard” was about Pearl’s relationship with Steven, colored by her relationship with Rose. “Sworn to the Sword” was about

I watched it as it was airing. I actually kinda feel like you appreciate it MORE after having to wait eight weeks for the resolution.

Well, I actually think Lapis is a victim because she was caught up in a war she wasn't supposed to be involved in, wrongfully imprisoned, left for dead, and trapped for 5000 years with a cracked gem. It's pretty understandable if she doesn't have much of a positive attitude.
That said, she's not my favorite character

We’ve seen that Gems have free will (given that some of them rebelled!), a capacity for empathy, and the ability to learn and change over time. So I don’t think that having been originally created by another race to be space conquerors would absolve Homeworld and the Diamonds of all their crimes, no more than people

To be fair, the Crystal Gems weren’t really keeping Lapis prisoner either. ;) They simply found a mirror and didn’t have any reason to believe that the gem in it was still alive/conscious. The point is, Lapis has reason to be pissed at the people who were directly or indirectly involved in her imprisonment, whether

Sure, Peridot never kept Lapis imprisoned in a mirror… she just kept Lapis imprisoned on her ship. I’m guessing Lapis didn’t like that too much either.

I didn't say anything about Greg not being a strong male figure? I only said that the roles of the watermelon couple reflect the parental figures in Steven's life. Garnet, Amethyst, and Pearl are the ones who would go off to war while Greg is the one who would stay and take care of the kid. This is literally what

She never claimed that the CGs were the ones who put her in the mirror. She says "You knew I was in there!" not "You put me in there!"

If you consider that the Watermelon Stevens were probably shaped by Steven’s personality/perception of the world, it makes perfect sense. All of Steven’s female parental figures are warriors while his dad is sort of a laid-back “Mr. Mom” type.

Well, what was someone from America doing in Lithuania? For that matter, what was someone from Lithuania doing in America? Japanese people can ride airplanes too, you know. It's not some special secret known only to white people.

1) Wait, how did Hannibal take the bullets out of Alana's gun? He sneaked into her house and stole the bullets that were loaded in her gun, but he didn't bother to steal the spare bullets she had in her purse?
