“Discrimination and family-unfriendly policies are among the causes, but research has suggested another influence: “The returns to working long, inflexible hours have greatly increased” in this “winner-take-all economy.”

We’re more “productive” than ever, but we work hours as long as our parents or grandparents, and yet struggle more than they did to afford a house or any semblance of financial stability. We need another workers’ rights / trade union push, like the one that got us 8 hour days and the 5 day working week. We should be

Next time: Twenty-five years ago, Hugh Grant charmed (and stammered) his way through Four Weddings And A Funeral.

Obviously that should say

Teaching men that when a woman is telling you why she’s not gonna date you, just kissing her will silence all her objections is a crime against humanity.

Just imagine being the other Hemsworth - Luke, who is in Westworld. Poor, poor Luke.

Related: The Good Place did an amazing riff on this where they introduced a character who was an award winning pediatrician/perfect at everything/amazingly good looking, who turned out to be the “disappointing” Hemsworth brother.

The Russians are GOOD at it. They can actually spell and use c0mplete sentences.

I just can’t get behind the unbelted swing dress unless one has a totally straight figure or the dress doesn’t get significantly wider at the bottom. I’m a similar size to the girl in the picture but probably with bigger boobs and I bet she looks pretty funny straight on from the front. I always feel like I’m wearing

Totally agree. You can also win by getting a faux wrap dress—all the styling and flattery, none of the wardrobe malfunctions. Also: Fashion Tape FTW.

I 100% agree with Tim Gunn and want to go to Red Lobster with him and Andre.  Speaking of, where’s Andre? (One of the finest few moments in reality tv history)

Hey incel assholes:

I may be mistaken, but I believe these two do a decent amount of charity work. I also greatly appreciate his openness about his struggles/anxiety. This is dumb.

And it gets better each season. They’ve done such a good job developing the supporting cast of characters. Love it.

The best sitcom on television, and it gets next to no attention because it’s not on cable or streaming.

...wow.

Should I point out that Pete has a serious mental illness, and that living with a parent is maybe not the worst/most pathetic idea for an employed, single adult who struggles with suicidal ideation and other self-harm issues? No? We’re going to continue making fun of everything this person does, even though he’s

So what? Maybe he likes his mom? Maybe she keeps him grounded. I truly think that people who haven’t lost a parent can’t understand how much that experience makes you value the one you have left.
