I'm the same, pretty much. When I was younger, like late teens- early 20s - I used to be able to function pretty well on not enough sleep. I remember going to school and work on 2-3 hours sleep and doing just fine, then doing it again the next day.

Wow, I didn't know there were any dangerous animals native to NZ.
I'd watch that too, so long as it didn't get too bogged down in the soapy-drama type stuff.
I don't know about newer releases, but the old copies of LOTR that my parents have is actually broken up into six parts, two for each book.
You're looking at the height of the ledge, and seeing that it doesn't look that high, so it doesn't really look wrong.
Fresher eggs are harder to peel. If you boil an egg and shell comes off with no effort, that egg has probably been sitting around for quite a while.
If you're buying commercially farmed eggs (either free-range or caged) then the hens wouldn't have been kept with a rooster, because the farmers wouldn't want any fertilised eggs. So let go of your guilt for eating those eggs that had a blood-spot, it's not what you've been taught it is.
I think I'd take a camera. Assuming that I could travel back to the future, I'd really want some photos from my trip.
I'm in Australia.
Same here, the white ones look weird now. I vaguely remember them being common when I was a kid though.
Chicken eugenics is a great hobby for a kid.
I saw plenty of Glenn, but not much of Carol. She was only in a few woodsy shots.
Thanks for your reply, it's interesting to hear your point of view. It really makes me wonder if there are other things that everyone believes and never questions, but that we're totally wrong about.
I have an uncle who was raised as fairly normal, but converted to YEC thinking in his 20s. It's so hard to understand how he could stop believing all the scientifically proven facts in favour of something so illogical. I've asked my mum what happened to him, and she doesn't really understand it either, just that he…
Why do you think some people 'wake up' when most don't? What made you start to question it? Was it experiences you had or are you just the kind of person who couldn't just follow along?
That's a pretty bad analogy, it would make more sense to ask "If 97% of professional cliff jumpers jumped off a cliff, would you believe they were doing it properly?"
And the sensible answer would be yes.
How much are fruit and veggies in the US? I'd be interested to know. Like how much would expect to pay for basics like apples and potatoes and tomatoes and lettuce?
I was born in 1984, so these are the movies that I grew up watching on TV and VHS. I think '93 and '94 were great years well though, and I still think of them as the end of the era of great live action kids movies.
I've been watching The Returned on Netflix, and really enjoying it. I watch a lot of American tv and like it, but it is so good to get in a good European show occasionally.
Mystical pregnancies. At best it will be an annoying episode where a character goes through an ordeal that I can only imagine would be incredibly traumatising, only to have the problem disappear at the end of the episode and then the characters never mention it again.
