You mean you missed that vey brief Succession cross-over cameo scene?
Just want to share this, particularly the second slide(though the stunt training in the first one is dope too):
As soon as I saw all the kids on the same side for the first time, strategizing in the car, supporting each other, I knew it was over for them. Camaraderie?! Love?! That’s not how any of this works, you dummies.
Come on. We gotta shout out Alan Ruck. He is constantly benched on the show, and he plays that need for recognition so beautifully. It feels like we all undervalue his work on the show, and this episode gives him a great ending to his season arc.
If only defeating the GOP's woman-hating agenda were as easy as solving The Da Vinci Code
I think the entire cast is pretty fucking good, but I agree. She deserves an Emmy.
Sarah Snook is a very good actor.
Honestly this is a thing that we all expected though, especially since there’s a lack of vaccination abroad (I think mostly due to lack of access) as well as dumbfuck right wingers in the US trusting the word of a guy from 8-kun over anyone from the CDC. Mutations are one of the most challenging aspects of virology to…
just gonna pop in here to digitally give me friend ally pankiw a few props for directing a couple of episode this season!
It was truly a gut-punch.
This show is a fine example of how to make an anachronistic farce, and make it hilarious. I loved the first season and can’t wait for the second.
Fantastic! I loved Season 1, and am thrilled that this is back. Wildly inaccurate, but wildly entertaining.
Huzzah! *Smashes review*
This is probably the first time I find myself hoping that a show changes reviewers between seasons (presuming this gets a second). I don’t really enjoy reading extended analysis of non-diegetic music choices that resembles analysis of inconsistent engine specifications on the starship Enterprise. The way it’s deployed…
And we get it! You liked the show and want someone who will just agree with you. That;’s the purpose of criticism after all! Complete and total agreement. Never mind that wanting to agree with a reviewer is only useful if you’re using the reviewer as some sort of purchasing guide where it makes sense to have aligned…
Yes I definitely agree, although it still should have been very easy for him to say “Oo, sorry honey, I really appreciate this but weirdly I just had a case involving those shoes so this is kind of freaking me out. Sorry, can we do something else for a bit?” instead of being mean.
They made a big deal out of saying that people came and went frequently in that building so I wouldn’t be surprised if they go in that direction.
I was wondering if the presence of the cat, and then its absence, signalled that she lived in the same building as a serial killer (cruelty to animals being a characteristic of one).
I kept thinking Dr Carr was going to get attacked by a serial killer herself.
