I’ve been doing my first full watch of Cheers this month and early on browsed through IMDB for the actors I didn’t know as well.

Thank you for posting this. I think people forget how young 17 really is.
I’ve been kind of hoping that since so many shows had shortened seasons, and with a general lack of new pieces to cover, that the AV Club might have some time to go back through at least some of the shows that have lost coverage (or never got it in the first place - looking at you Tuca and Bertie!)
Yes. This is 10 years late but yes, her actions to Carla are worse.
Because they hadn’t found out about Lucky Strike yet. Glo-Coat angered Don, mostly it seems, because he won the Clio with his work for them. He definitely took it personally and lashed out, pretty unfairly.
I think some of my favorite songs from Bob’s Burgers tend to be when they seem to happen spontaneously (mostly from Gene or Linda) and in smaller bursts. I will never not laugh when I think of Gene’s Snake song.
Where has that ‘occasional shit’ been? I don’t think i’ve seen any sort of internet outrage over Dan Mintz and John Roberts voicing Tina and Linda. If anything, Mintz in particular seems fairly acclaimed for his work as Tina.
I had lost hope for Tuca & Bertie season 2; this is an absolutely delightful surprise. Yay something good happening!
yeah that’s fair.. Weirdmageddon pretty much lived up to its name.
I didn’t realize this season was going to be 13 episodes and honestly it feels like it it flew by (in a good way). Brooklyn-99 would definitely have benefited from a longer episode order - something that, granted, is not usually the case for a show in its 7th season, but the 99 could’ve easily carried another 5…
Ugh. I miss Gravity Falls. Disney seems so hellbent on rebooting and redoing everything they can. Instead of a live action Lady and the Tramp (or whatever the hell else they are unnecessarily doing) they should bring us more Gravity Falls.
It has all the makings of an Onion headline but lol it’s 2020 so nope it’s a real headline.
This is my first watch of iZombie so i don’t know if they address this going forward, but where the hell have Liv’s mom and brother been? Surely they now know why she couldn’t give blood, and unless i missed something, they are still in Seattle.
Especially after the D&D episode - I would love to see the gang do a LARP. Clive was absolutely delightful in his unexpected enthusiasm for D&D. It might not be canon, but in my mind they’ve been having weekly games since.
Just started iZombie these last few weeks and the Aleutian flu plot is just terrifyingly prescient right now, although i guess it should be comforting there hasn’t been an accompanying zombie outbreak.
aside from “Best Thing That Ever Happened,” PC has never “needed” Bojack as a client. in fact, the show pointed out many times (albeit more so at the beginning of the series) that Bojack consumed a lot of her time, but rarely worked. When the series began, he hadn’t worked since Horsin’ Around (and, later, we…
i am still in denial that Netflix so unceremoniously dumped Tuca & Bertie.
Amy and Dina’s friendship has been one of the most delightful parts of the show for me. I can’t think of an Amy/Dina episode that wasn’t a home run.
America Ferrera is always great as an actress, but i’d agree that Amy as a character hasn’t been well-served since becoming manager. She’s had some OK storylines but a lot of them have depended on her reacting so over-the-top it’s less comic and borderline... grating? which sucks - America Ferrera is fantastic. but…
plus, Amy and Jonah’s relationship had such a long lead-up - like seed-planted-in-the-pilot-lead-up - i can’t really think how they’re going to split them up. it’s definitely not the most interesting part of the show (nor is it my favorite) but it’s prominent enough that it’s going to be hard to write around.
