Excuse my ignorance but all those wars the A-10 has fought involved minimal if no anti-aircraft weapons. How would the A-10 fare against a modern system such as the russian s-300 or s-400 or pantsir? Could it be the reason for retiring it in favor of a more modern aircraft?
