I just find it difficult to believe that, if there had been two girls, they would have both been down with the whole plan. Call it naivete or what have you. The whole group dynamic would have been different regardless.

The fact that it would never have happened if there had been a second girl in the Losers’ Club is what really baffles me.

I genuinely wonder if he remembers how much maneuvering there is in the book prior to that. It has been 30 years after all.
