I’m not into esports myself, but seeing Deadspin commenters getting triggered by the mere presence of esports articles has become one of my favorite things on the site.

I’m going to say up front that I actually enjoyed Final Fantasy XV a hell of a lot more than I thought I would.

I will also say up front that—like Final Fantasy: Spirits Within—had it been called pretty much anything other than Final Fantasy, I probably would’ve enjoyed it a great deal more.

This was the exact moment this game had my money.

MMO elitists loathe the ‘common man’ who only has a few hours at best to play, compared to the massive chunk of time devoted fans set aside to grind away. However, without the common man, no MMO can hope to maintain itself very long.

Well, another point is that there really isn’t a place to go for people that want the MMO without the hardcore. As much as people say games like WoW and what not have gotten more casual; they are still HUGE time sinks. Destiny has the opportunity to sweep in and fill that void; and it’s probably the best game to do so.

You know, I’ve seen many hardcore mmo players complain about casuals getting catered to more, but as the fanbase continues to age I don’t think there’s any avoiding it. My understanding is that the bulk of gamers are adults now, and most adults are in the same situation as Keza and Patrick.

And, of course, the Orthodox Fundamentalist Faction of the Nintendo Faithful are out in force, defending this, already.

Oh please. Everyone knows data like that is totally secure and could never leak to the public. That’s not how the world works.

But can it fit "Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die." on it? If not, I'm not interested.
