I'm still debating if there is anything consequential here or not. Obviously young Hodor was not exactly normal, and Nan was protecting him (or protecting Benjen from him). A lot of people just naturally assume that Hodor was the victim of something, but who's to say that someone else wasn't HIS victim? Remember

I actually thought this was the best episode of the season…but in the final minutes of the show I got bored and just walked away from it. I'll probably finish the season but I'm not exactly looking forward to it.

It almost sounds like the Hunger Games is being used here as an example of what a good movie franchise should be…but that can't be right, can it?

eh…you are probably right.

It just feels like the same episode over and over again.

It's really the same episode over and over again. I actually thought this one had potential the way Sheldon was showing compassion towards Leonard at the beginning, but once they sat down for dinner, sure enough…they start fighting. It's always arguing and fighting on this show.

The punch lines on this show are getting really weak. Sometimes I feel for the actors for having to read these lines.

How cool would it be if a lot of people sit in the Throne at the end? Like what happens if Stannis rolls into KL, kills everyone and takes the Throne, and shortly after that the people of Dorne come north, destroy his army, and Doran Martell sits on the thrones. And than maybe Loras shows up with his men, and take

Is Leonard not living with Penny really because of Sheldon though? How do we know that it's not Sheldon who has kept them together for so long by keeping them separate? Seems like whenever we get a lot of Penny and Leonard in the same episode it just leads to bickering and them questioning their relationship. Or

I thought this episode was pretty good. Not great, but pretty good. I'm glad that someone called out Bernadette on her behavior, but it's also just getting to be beyond stupid with her character. Initially she's this sweet, shy, girl who doesn't understand humor or sarcasm, and now she's a raging monster, who seems

this is actually a pretty valid concern.

Sheldon acting like a Douche was the comedy as the end of a serious moment.

I thought this was one of the better shows…maybe ever.

I thought the episode was funny. It just felt like an episode we've already seen before…but at least Leonard and Penny didn't start fighting and ruin everything. Bernadette really is over bearing, but that's her shtick now. I'm just glad it wasn't focusing on the horrible romantic relationships that exist between

I'd watch the LOTR first. That's what everyone else did, so you'll be on an even playing field. If you do decide to watch the Hobbit first, please just don't read too much into it. Nothing that happens in these movies were really properly thought through…even though Peter Jackson bends over backwards to remind you

And this is off topic, but I see a lot of comments (not in this thread) about making another Middle Earth movie, specifically The Silmarillion. But, if you think about it, these movies set Jackson up perfectly to make another LOTR movie, focusing around Dain and Bard's grandson (or great grandson) fighting off

It also makes little to no sense to end the movie with the battle. The aftermath is equally important. What becomes of the Men/Dwarves/Elves relationship? What happens with Dain? Bard? I don't need a long drawn out (and awful) ending like in the Return of the King, but you would think that there will be some

Another day, another Peter Jackson comment about The Hobbit. I just don't know what this guy is thinking? It's as if he took all his talent and dedicated it to the marketing of these films, but not the making of them.

it's a reoccurring theme in these sitcoms. Be awful to each other for 28 minutes, be nice for the last 2.

This show has always been a little deranged, (Penny not being worthy of a last name, everything about Raj) but now it's down right disturbing. Having to watch Penny and Leonard do a scene by themselves is not even cringe worthy anymore, it's just bad TV, and we're supposed to feel better about it by being grossed out
