who’d have thought a game with 100% deus vult aesthetic and 4% community moderation, on the PC, would attract this crowd.
“The advancement came with time and can be broken down into movements or genres which give clearer definitions of the type and form...”
But that’s not what you described in your original post. There you described a level of segregation that takes your music example to a useless extreme. It granualizes to the point that the distinctions between the subgenres disappear, and you’re just making up new names for the same thing.
You gave the literal definition, and then followed it up with a subjective interpretation that I find overly pedantic and useless.
Your conceptualization of what constitutes a genre gives no genre any room to grow without splintering into a new sub-genre.
For Hollow Knight, it’s definitely the storytelling and worldbuilding.
you need to learn to separate your overemotional reactions to critiques of video games from reality. There’s nothing biased in this piece at all. It’s a generally positive review calling the game a success at what it wanted to be. He offered a critique as it stands up against modern games of the same genre and how a…

Rocket jumps are a neat trick, but they take a certain level of skill, and you’re kind…
In before people make the inevitable comments proving the piece right.
“According to her most recent tweet, Cattuzzo is currently taking a break from social media and streaming, citing death threats made against her family and friends.”
Though I wouldn’t mind Avatar being deprived of its only remaining instance of cultural significance.
Are people gonna do it anyway and Marvel will get the sub-50 million it needs for its box office crown (or really, it’s a gauntlet, surely)? Absolutely.
