World PvP in any MMO in a nutshell. Max lvl dude (usually a rogue / char with stealth or maxed out caster) corpse camping enemy starter area.

Of course no company wanna be labeled as ‘evil’. But if they wanted to be good they could just... y’know... add the skins directly to the shop for a fixed price and still have some random item drop after a game.
