carbon-ceramic brake discs pretty much don’t wear out. Not on a road car, anyway - that’s the point, all they ever need is pads unless you damage a disc.

It’s really simple, actually. You can determine the energy content of almost any hydrocarbon fuel by measuring its density; an ultrasonic sensor is used to measure fuel density and adjust how much fuel is fed into the engine.

I have worked with these systems and understand how they “see”. Modern LIDAR pucks are getting pretty damn good. nVidia’s solution is to just blanket surround the car with 4K cameras (seriously, the Drive PX2 supports like 16 UHD cameras, it’s ridiculous), and I can’t say I see them being any less good at seeing…

I have a 2002 Legacy B4 RSK (twin turbo, you americans didn’t get it) and it has a slightly-blue-silver paint color, and a blue/black leather interior, so i went with a blue-over-silver-and-black sorta theme; the calipers are painted blue and the wheel nuts have blue caps.
