You used the wrong van flip gif.

Suggesting tipping $10/person/day is a good advertisement for using Airbnb instead of hotels.

Do not tip your hotel staff! A few exceptions, tip the person who brings up your bags and tip room service.

I suspect we’re at the logical end of Jony Ive’s interpretation of Dieter Rams’ take on minimalism. Everything that can be removed has been removed and all imperfections smoothed away. Maybe Apple needs someone with a different vision to reinvigorate the brand.

Hmm 2016 was $5, multiply by cost of living inflation, carry the 1, $10. Boy do I wish I my salary had done that in 3 years.

I leave the DND sign up because I prefer they stay out. It’s not that I am hiding anything, I would just prefer they not come in, and I don’t need the service. I realize it’s not a legally binding contract. In all the many, many hotels I have stayed at, I have never come back to find my room clean when I left the DND

$10/day per person for tips? Have you been talking to the Salty Waitress?

See, I don’t understand any of this at all. I book a hotel room so I have somewhere to sleep when I’m not doing what I’m in town to do. The job of housekeeping is to refresh the room after I’ve used it. I’m not gonna trash the room, but why should I do their job for them? If I want privacy, I need to feel bad about

Tips for a healthy life

I listened to all of The Dropout and just finished the documentary. I preferred the podcast. Every time she was on screen in the doc, I had to look away. She’s fucking creepy. She would probably stab someone with that blank look her face and then lie about how they ran into the knife. All with that fake, deadpan bro

Their cheese curds aren’t that good (ducks).

I hate when companies have a good thing then decide for whatever reason to change the formula to something inferior and still keep the name to confuse consumers.

It’s a toss-up between him and Evans’ Cap, in my book. Doesn’t seem like much of a coincidence given their relationship, too!

I love how Captain Marvel managed to plant seeds for all the TAHITI stuff 6 years down the line - little stuff like that just goes to show how ridiculously organic the MCU is.

I live in Detroit. Doing work outside between the months of November and December is miserable.

I was all ready to say something snarky in the comments until I saw that the dude is a Vietnam vet and the restaurant is his comfort and now I’m like “man, whatever gets you through.”

Why not both? Clearly, these stupid parents are stupidly stupid for risking their child’s life over not using a vaccine that’s been in use for a century, and the life-saving care should not cost $1M.

First it takes a ton of skill to be able to hit a 100mph baseball period. Even major league players struggle to do that.
