I’m very excited for Victoria! I blame her for many ills of modern society, but that doesn’t mean I can’t be very intrigued with her and her life and abilities.

I will be watching Victoria on Masterpiece instead. The 12 year-old in me that was obsessed with Elizabeth I and Victoria (yes, I was incredibly cool) is very excited.

They lock maternity wards down so tight now, it’s crazy. My kid was an hour old and had on a proximity alarm, three bar codes that corresponded to me, and a microchip. No exaggeration. And my hospital required babies to room in with the parents.
