Hmm, tell me more about this civilization classification scale. Does it go something like:
Level damn
Level crap
Level shit
Level fuck
Level motherfuck
Level whateverthefuck
Level holyfuck

Is what I misread...
Thoughts and prayers to the civilizations that were eradicated in the galactic black hole.
Spent my whole life using Celsius then moved to the USA and now use Fahrenheit. They both convey exactly the same information. Do you really need to know what the weather is going to be like to the exact degree F, I mean really, that one degree will be the difference between you taking a jacket or not? Saying it’s…
THANK YOU. As someone who was raised in a country other than the US and now lives here, I don’t think I’ll ever get used to Fahrenheit. It’s arbitrary and awkward. Same goes for the imperial units.
This statement makes no sense. How does one base a number around what humans experience when the number is what we use to express that experience? Up here in Canada, on a day that’s too hot to go outside it’s +30(+/-), too cold is about -30 (+/-). If it is below 0 we’re more likely to get snow than rain. It’s pretty…
I’m having more trouble believing that many people would follow along with his antics. Like, I can believe him being so maniacal himself, but you telling me everybody else is just cool with it all as well?
Not buying it
I honestly thought the Oceanside group was gonna reveal that the Saviors uses them for “conjugal visits” from time to time
Someone, somewhere, is going to have sex with this.
Maybe after killing the Oceanside men, he decided that it was better to keep people alive and available to give him offerings.
Negan killed 2 guys when he introduced himself to Rick’s group, just like he always kills someone when he introduces himself. Technically speaking, Rick and co. haven’t actually defied Negan yet, which I think is a very important distinction in Negan’s mind.
Well they left the door open with the missing mother of the girl they introduced (Cynthia?) possibly being with Negan’s camp now... so there is at least one loose end to bring them back into the fold.
Hard to say... maybe Negan operated differently then? Perhaps even after laying out the ground rules, Oceanside’s men decided they would still fight?
I get the impression that the Satellite Station people were kind of fuck ups and they’re the ones that offed the Oceanside men. Negan seems to understand better than some of his subordinates the value of psychological manipulation.
I took it as Negan understood he made a mistake. He killed the men and lost the woman. No one left to produce for his hungry soldiers. He can’t be a bully with no one to bully.
I think the difference is Rick and Co. did so before Negan had a chance to subjugate them, so he killed Glenn and Abraham as a way to shut down their insolence, but get them in line and working for him with a good number of useful people intact. What I took from the Oceanside slaughter is they were already working for…
Negan is clearly insane. He probably just felt like killing more people that day. And I definitely agree that in order for him to properly capitalize on his “colonies”, he needs at least some of them to still be alive so they can gather shit for him. It’s also a tv show, based on a comic book which establishes much of…
I thought they implied that Oceanside tried to basically take out the Saviors, as in, all out war and/or taking over the protection racket. In which case it makes a little more sense.
Worse - Negan only killed ONE of Rick’s crew (the second was retaliation for Daryl’s outburst); AND Rick’s people also blew up another group of Saviors, but Negan only found that out later (and didn’t futher punish them).
Maybe Simon gave the order? He seems like a freaking lunatic who’d have no problem killing a shit ton of people. Or Negan didn’t think the OC people as useful as the Alexandrians? It does seem really unbalanced.
