All the radio towers on hill tops. I've always imagined future archaeologists thinking that we'd built them as monuments or shrines to some type of sky god. It makes sense right? All the highest points in the land covered in metal spires reaching to the heavens!

Considering how it "bit the hand that feeds" I think the short lived Max Headroom series was pretty subversive... but I may be dating myself here...

I saw it in a theater the early 90s when they did the 50th anniversary, and it was excellent.

I saw this in the theatre as a little kid (I think it was a re-release or something because I'm not that old). Terrified me, and I don't know why but the stupid mushroom scene was the worst for me.

When I was about 4 or 5, I saw "When Mars Invaded Earth" on TV. The ending scene creeped me out for years. It was not until recently that I figured out what movie it was. I got to watch it again, and I have to say for a 1964 B movie with a very low budget, it was actually pretty good.
