As a dad, I get really irritated when I hear other guys say that they have to "babysit" their kids. Really? You don't "babysit" your own kids! You raise them! My kids are now teens and I have a very close bond with them (thanks to all that "babysitting" I did, I guess)

Ha, among other things, I do all the ironing at home (I'm the male btw). I iron for myself, my wife, and two kids. Apparently it's because I'm really good at it.... so I'm told anyway.

I must be missing something - I tend to remember my passwords (work, desktop, mobile, etc). If I forget one, I just look it up on my phone's app, then enter it manually into the app, website, whatever. The tool is pretty basic, I just wanted a very secure place to store these things, where I could look them up easily.

Actually, it is truly stand-alone. It does not sync. You can set it up to export the encrypted list of your passwords to dropbox. I haven't bothered though. I exported the file, once, when I got a new phone. Then I just imported back into aWallet on my new phone.

On Android, I use aWallet to keep all my user IDs and passwords. It's free, totally encrypted, and it doesn't even require web access. It's totally self contained. You can even export an encrypted copy of the data to store off the device wherever you chose.

I live far from many members of my family, and gift cards make a lot of sense then. Otherwise I end up paying more for the shipping than the gift!

My wife is a teacher and gets loads of these at Christmas - far more than any human needs in a lifetime. And... she is allergic to most of them!

1989. Oh it was a sweet machine... It was a Data General One laptop. It had 2 3.5" floppy drives, a non-backlit LCD screen, and a 300baud modem. The dual floppy was great because I could have my DOS 3.0 disk in one, and my "word processor" and files on the other. I think it had 604K of RAM, and an 8088 processor.

I'm in the same boat. I'm in IT consulting, all of it on PC. I'm at my friend's place, and try to use his Mac, and I can't do anything with it. One button on the mouse. WTF? Same with iPhones.
