struggling to understand the hostility here towards this being 2 hrs 15 minutes? it's half of a 1400+ page book, first off, and second, I can't remember the last time I saw a movie under 2 hours? Maybe moonlight? I thought audiences were inured to this by now?

I haven't read the comics, but I've picked up enough about them to know that she has a pretty awesome backstory, and I think the problems you talk about there could be resolved by, if not showing it via flashback, at least having her talk about it some.
