There is some evidence that seems to suggest that the regional exclusives have recently had their spawn rates increased. Over the past few days I’ve been finding a lot more Tauros than I was previously.

My neighborhood is crawling with Sandshrews and Rhyhorns. The only saving grace is that on Weekends between 4pm and 7pm our living room spawns a semi-rare to rare Pokemon. We’ve some caught Magmar, Fearow, Tauros, Rydons, and Charmeleons because of it.

Can you imagine how much more social the game would become with trading? Asking random people if they’d like to trade rather than how it is right now where people just sit around in crowd at gatherings and not really talk.

My Pikachu spawned as a guy was ringing up my groceries at Fred Meyer (Kroger in the East Coast). I said “wait a second, gotta catch this Pikachu”.

My Pokedex went from 53 to 80 in just a few hours there.
