Oh wow. I'm a huge fan of both Event Horizon and 40k and somehow I never quite put that all together.

So I went to go see it with my husband and woke up in the middle of the night to see him silhouetted in the bathroom door then walking slowly back to our bed from the bathroom..... yeahhhhh.

It's actually Moltres!
I tooootally went with the Devil's Cupcake look. My dress was black and orange and ENORMOUS. Possibly a bit absurd but honestly I wanted something over the top and Halloweeny and goddammit, I got it. I had a fascinator covered in glitter pumpkins. Hell yes.
You're approaching this from only an art appreciation angle and really neglecting to consider how difficult it is for a country with terrible infrastructures and severe poverty issues to just "properly care" for things that aren't necessary to the quality of human life, I think. I totally agree that these relics are…
I can see why they don't want to though. Their economy is really heavily dependent on people coming to Egypt to see that shit (like, it's oil, then tourism). Maybe in the long run they'd earn more but in the short term it makes them less desirable to visit and that's a big fucking problem for Egypt.
I went to Egypt a few years ago and saw Tut's relics in the museum and I really got the impression that they simply do not have the money to properly care for or catalog all the stuff they have. When I was late with my period I really also focused in on stuff that could be perceived as a pregnancy symptom as well but I…
I am beyond annoyed right now. SERIOUSLY.
This is hilarious to me because I do extra freelance work above and beyond my normal job to compensate for how expensive my costumes are.
When I waited tables in college I had a few people who would come in regularly and always get the same thing. As long as they didn't expect me to remember what it was off the top of my head, it was definitely not mock-worthy.
The zoya ones are amaaaaazing. I really like Essie's Lots of Lux too, that polish single-handedly won me over to texture. It CAN be good!
According to w3cschools.com, it originally was 'horizontal rule' in HTML 4.01 and is now generally used for a thematic break.
"I don't watch GoT anymore but this doesn't seem spoilery to me!" Ok thanks
