“tavern cut” is garbage and should be shamed.  The point of having an edge crust is somewhere to grab the damn thing, I hate having to grab a handful of hot cheese to eat my pizza.

This is exactly what happens.

The point is how fucking dorky every aspect of it is

I’ve done daily duty in a speed3 for almost 9 years now.  2 different ones, but the point remains.  I believe if my wife’s car had the same suspension and engine setup as mine it would outrun me just on handling.  Where my RSB is necessary to get it to rotate, and almost makes it twitchy, hers is smooth and composed.

A McMuffin al Pastor?

My wife’s 3 drives fantastically - the chassis feels more balanced than it actually is and it is ridiculously composed through the twisties. Very predicable handling only let down by its higher profile tires and soft suspension. Give one of these a proper set of coils and dampers and better tires and the only thing

Disagree. if you can hook all of that torque it will be a rocket. These do not weigh much and the AWD will help with grip (I can blow the tires off even with torque limited in 1 and 2).

I am 100% sure.   The speed6 is manual-only.  So were Mazdaspeed miatas, proteges, a 3s.  I know there was one person looking to swap in an automatic because he was disabled any could not operate a clutch, but I don’t know that it went anywhere and this was back around 2013.

New autos aren’t like old ones. My wife’s 2016 3 has a pretty great transmission even if I try to smash a clutch pedal at least once every time I drive it. There is minimal power loss in automatics anymore and they aren’t a penalty to drive unless you specifically want a manual (which I do....but I’m clearly in the

Mazdaspeed has always been more than just the engine though.  Lower, stiffer suspension, wider tires, always a manual transmission.  The engine portion has been the biggest issue for Mazda so if that’s sorted out they should be in a better place to offer another Mazdaspeed

That is an absolute shit ton of torque for that car....my MS3 came with ~280 and it’s a riot. 310 is nuts with that power figure only 227.

I also just got a Gladiator.  Granted I was coming from hauling everything in a hatchback but I do love the thing so far

I’m not sure I love pickup trucks, but I grew up in one, drove one through high school and college, have an old ‘56 F100 project truck, and just pickup up this one last week.

I would have been happy with a sport s if I could have optioned the manual with the wide 4.10 axles, but that combination is Rubicon only (as far as I could find).  With this setup I’m good running a couple inches of lift and 35s, with the 3.73s I would have required a regear to do that and that’s not work I want to

I’ve sat in and driven all 3 of the cars I mentioned and the only one that gave me issues in driving position was the Challenger.

There is only one cadillac that I had any interest in for the past many years - the CTS-V wagon. It is wildly expensive on the used market today, and it’s not because of the dashing good looks. The CTS-V and ATS-V sedans are okay too (not the coupe....it’s all wrong) but don’t have quite the same Jalop pull.

“Put your trust in the lord, Your ass belongs to me”

I definitely considered a Golf R to replace my car instead of a supplemental truck. But that didn’t get me anywhere other than a more expensive, slightly faster version of my MS3

Not a bad setup! I rode just the MS3 for almost 5 years (traded a TJ for it actually) and for the last 2 years I’ve had to borrow a truck or could really have used one too many times to count. I’m happy to be back in a Jeep and despite the lowered offroad capabilities of the Gladiator vs other Jeeps it will fit my
