So it's roughly 0.5% of their net...BFD. I'm not saying incapacitate them to bankruptcy but that is immaterial to their ongoing operations and is pointless.

I work on the regulatory end of a super highly regulated industry. All of these government fines and entities are a joke. There is a big problem when the fines don't make it worth complying or fixing the actual problem. Put the screws to them and make it hurt.
21.5 feet? Big deal...my Eldorado is around 20...
I just drove by one last week in Sacramento at a truck storage joint.
Ugh...screw these towing rackets. $500 for 6 hours of storage because I parked in my apartment complex lot one space over because some asshole (WHO DIDNT LIVE THERE OR HAVE A PERMIT) took my spot and I got home from the airport at 2am and didn't have it in me to figure it out. I still remember the scene...my car gone…
I bought my '08 Accord V6 coupe in 2011, with the full HFP package, at the end of the month. Car had 32k miles on it, was CPO, and I got the 120k/8 year Honda extended warranty for $800. I already got my money's worth when the navigation screen crapped out, which CPO didn't cover. I got the right price for my extended…
I drive by this place on my way to work every morning. They literally just opened it a month ago. No wonder the sign flipping guy wasn't out front this week...
If they could just make it look not so damn cheap. That's why I'm not driving a CTS-V as we speak.
Reminds me that Eisen is the only redeeming thing about the NFL Network. Well done, sir...well done.
For the complete fucking of a city, look no further than the Sacramento Kings arena deal. They gave away half of downtown because Kevin Johnson like to shoot around with the team when he's not busy molesting 16 year old girls or supposedly being mayor. He bullied the city council, circumvented state environmental laws…
I once got towed for parking in the "wrong" space in my own apartment complex. Picked up the car at 2 minutes to midnight (supposedly) so they hosed me for 2 days of storage...total cost: $648. $123 is a goddamn bargain.
IIRC, the Motor Trend long term tester had a full engine/clutch replacement very early into their test. Like 3k miles...
Ugh...I remember the forklift literally dropping off the Caddy in my avatar at the insurance lot when I met the adjuster to look at it. It was bad enough the way it was but that was the icing on the shit cake.
Is that a Viggen? My old boss had one...iIloved that thing...
Nice. I grew up in La Crescenta....next time I'm down I'll have to check it out.
The Grand Prix was a better looking car.
Comic Sans? Really?
In Montrose? Where???
$150 an hour? Doug, that's a bargain. Stevens Creek BMW was charging $185 an hour 5 years ago...
The Z4 M Coupe....almost pulled the trigger on a bronze one to replace the convertible. Still kicking myself for changing my mind. The interior wasn't perfect but it wasn't lacking, either.
