I still maintain that the filmmaker meeting was a waste of time if the expressions ‘walk into the Pacific’ and ‘rocks in your pockets’ weren’t spoken to Zaslav.

Crazy how Zemeckis was one of the great American directors of the ‘80s and then he became obsessed with his CGI wax museums.

Where the hell is Romancing the Stone (and its sequel)? As far as Indy imitators go, it’s not only the first out of the gate, but it was also very influential in its own right. Half the adventure movies on this list steals its its romance dynamic.

There is no bodies no more. They were reduced to paste. What is left is already food for the detritivores down there. They are part of the ocean now, the same as what happened to the people trapped in the Titanic herself when she went down all those years ago.

As Robot Turds got there before me, the simple fact is that there aren’t bodies to recover.

The question of whether the bodies would be recovered I feel was answered appropriately. They know the answer. The bodies were probably vaporized during the implosion so there’s not much, if any to recover. To answer that the environment is very unforgiving instead was a more sensitive response.

If there’s one silver lining, it’s that an implosion would have been a quick death and they wouldn’t have suffered like they would if they suffocated.
