With the advancements in audio processing over the past decade, autotune, melodyne, and others, they could probably produce the same album today with them "actually" singing. Even though their singing would be thanks to technology rather than talent, the public would treat the technological lipstick as less egregious…

@djdare: Serato may have assigned something like 83 BPM instead of 130 (or higher) if it thinks a quarter note is an eighth note by accident. Although the mistake is usually exactly half, like 80 instead of 160. But when that happens, that's why.
