I love the ideas that are coming through even on this round of smartwatches and I'd love to get a 360 myself, but seeing as I'm too poor at the moment, I'll probably just wait until the next generation comes out. :P
And if you don't happen to have a spare fork, a hacksaw, and a 50 pound vice during your Airbnb stay, you can also use... uh... a doorstop? A folded up piece of cardboard?
How do you get the tasks popup in Gmail? I have the sidebar in Calendar but had no idea there was a floating tasks window....
Don't worry, they fixed that....I just tried it and it was only for new users
You've probably heard this a million times, but you really need to have unique passwords for all of your online accounts. Lastpass is one of the best tools for creating and managing your logins, and you can get a year of Premium right now for free ($12 value). [FREE Year of Lastpass Premium]
I disagree. Yeah, you always have it on you, but the computer has a numpad. It's a lot faster than the touchscreen buttons.
We really want them to be the same, and I don't anticipate any significant differences. There aren't so many features that we want to add to the app that will result in Android lagging behind.
Yeah, that was an awesome deal - I think they sold out of them! Good news is that our testing with the Android version of Superhero Workout + Chromecast is showing great results.
Yup, Chromecast support is coming for Android devices - but maybe you're talking about streaming from your iPad to Chromecast? This is literally the first time I've realised people might want to do this, which is totally legitimate request. We'd have to look into that...
Yeah, when we design games like Zombies, Run! and Superhero Workout, we assume that players are at least making an effort, because there are always ways for determined people to cheat (even though it wouldn't make sense in a fitness game). But still, we want to make sure we don't significantly undercount or overcount.
Developer here: Yup, Thorin is right! The game works better on a bigger screen. iPhones are fine, but tablets (or just big phones) make things more visible and fun.
There are actually fewer abductions than when I was a kid, but the 24-7 news media, with its focus on the dramatic, makes it appear that walking to school unattended by a parent is some kind of crazy dangerous feat. We have become risk-averse to the point of absurdity.
Yeah, I was watching that gif for like two minutes and finally gave up going, "Shit, this guy is good."
This GIF perfectly sums up everything that *isn't* happening in the video. Well done.
16 minutes of voluntary idling per day? I have a really hard time believing this. I get in my car and am moving within seconds of starting the engine. When I get to my destination, I'm out of the car within seconds of it stop moving. Who has time to sit in their car for 15 minutes a day??? Shouldn't we be talking…
My rule is to never lend money I expect back. There is nothing that will start hard feelings faster than someone who "forgets" to pay money back, so I just avoid it by only lending money that I don't expect to get back. That way, if I do get paid back it is great, if not it's no big deal.
Another one that's probably obvious to a lot of people, but I honestly can't get over how universally useful these things are. They're great for cleaning countertops and sinks, great for getting scuff marks off the walls, great for cleaning your shoes, they're pretty much good at everything. Sometimes I even spring…
Everyone talks highly of Honey, I've tried it a few times since it's release and have never, ever, seen it do anything (and I'm the kind of person that checks SlickDeals and Woot multiple times per day - I shop online quite a bit).
