How did you do that? I just tried it and was told it was for new customers only.

Question for you: Are there any other Android/iOS specific features? Apple TV for iOS, obviously (and ChromeCast for Android, like you mentioned), but anything else? Or are they mainly going to be the same?

Awesome advice, thanks! I'll give myself a rest day tomorrow then. :)

As for as ChromeCast, I may be the only one, but I never got an Apple TV. When Google announced that I could get Netflix and YouTube (and whatever other apps developers wanted to do) onto the TV for $35? With 3 months free Netflix on top? I was all

I own an android phone, but also an ipad mini. I got the iPad, since I'm starting to dabble in ios development. I've been developing for android for years. :)

I'm not sure how it compares to the wii, when it comes to being able to fool it (I can wave my arm around and still get points on Just Dance for the Wii)... but if you genuinely try, it works great!

So, I just bought for my iPad it and tried the tutorial and the first mission... oh my gosh, you have no idea how long I needed this. I've been using Zombies Run since Season 1, and that's great for running, but I needed something I could do inside (I live in the state that got down to -60 last winter). I can't afford

I'm eagerly awaiting the Android version! Although I may try it out on my ipad... it might be more useful on a bigger screen.

Nice pictures, but this has nothing to do with what pack/gear you use?

Exactly. Not very specific for a reason, I think.

"You consent to the collection and use of your email address and other information in accordance with our Privacy Policy." Yikes.

Surely that's a typo... or I'm misreading. How can you live on $10,000?

So here's the export of that (I've never shared a recipe before, so if there's an easier way to do this, let me know how to do it)

Ya, I thought of that. Instead (with the help of Tasker) I set it to set the password on a shutdown, so that when they boot it back up, it'll make it so they can't get at my stuff.

Actually, I don't think locking the power button would do much, now that I'm thinking about it. Holding down the power button for about 5 seconds will power off the phone regardless. As long as it's password protected when it comes back on is the only thing, I suppose. Probably disabling debugging mode would be a good

Interesting... I didn't even think of powering it off. I just tested it, and it turns out that my phone can be turned off even from a password protected lock screen? That doesn't seem right! I realize that most phones have a removable battery, so you could just cut the power... but with my Nexus 4, there should be a

Good point about the untrustworthy friends. I trust most of my friends, but I still wouldn't want them getting into certain apps, due to confidential info (I don't let anyone besides family take my phone just for that reason). But I'm just like you, where I know almost immediately if I forgot my phone.

Question for anyone. I heard about the new android watches, and how they have the ability to have the screen unlocked when it's nearby. I did something similar with Tasker and my FitBit.

According to the updated article, it's available starting on Thursday (not today). Or did I misread the comments?

This is why I love Any.Do. I have it notify me in the morning with the "Plan my Day" feature. It will then go through task by task asking when I want to be reminded. I normally set it to notify me 30 min after I'm expected to get home, but sometimes I put them off til after dinner.
