no they’ve gotta sell toys of the old ship, the current ship, and whatever new ship he’ll get this season.

eh, my expectations for S3 of Mando are extremely low, so hopefully i’ll be pleasantly surprised. just not really interested in the fight for rulership of Mandalore. ugh
I know this may come off as crazy talk, but hear me out.
The movie looked fine. Even the screen grab above that’s constantly been shit on since the trailer came out didn’t look near as bad in the theaters for all the shit it got on the internet the last couple of months. People just need to stop being jaded assholes all the time and enjoy things
Yes, but I think they’re trying way too hard because people are basically demanding it. Commenters, reviewers, and bloggers just spent 2+ years writing every single movie/show off as “spinning their wheels” and “not introducing the next story”. The fact is that the Infinity Saga was a lot of disconnected, standalone…
Clark spends the first 1/3 of Man of Steel hiding out off the grid, only helping when he has to and only going public once Zod smokes him out of his hole. His adopted dad actually tells him not to help people, and dies on that hill.
he does not spend 95% of the movie helping others.
The version I saw had him devastating a city — the sort of thing that had consequences in the MCU, spawning the second wave and still echoing now — and snapping Zod’s neck. It certainly felt like a low cost knock off.
His Blade Runner performance is definitely what put him over the top. All these guys have good comedic timing from hamming it up during their wrestling days. Maybe it helps that Bautista has less faceman charisma than Johnson or Cena, but regardless he takes it to another level. His performances also don’t boil down…
Don’t worry, I’m sure people will show an ounce of charity and not read his comments in the worst possible light and he'll be fine.
What this comes down to, is that the parties involved committed the worst affront of all: they made the Academy look bad.
Also I wouldn’t say that Ellie killing the infected man was her being ‘cold-blooded’ in the least. In fact I’m pretty sure it’s meant to be the opposite - her venting her grief and anger at Tess dying in her name. She might not have the same bond to Tess that Joel does but that’s still something that needs catharsis.
As a queer person, I didn’t read it as a Bury Your Gays at all – they didn’t die because of homophobic brutality or tragedy, they died because they were old and content, it’s really the most beautiful, sweet, and sad episode of TV I’ve seen in a long time.
It took me a while to remember that in 2003, people ranting about the “New World Order” tended to be hardcore liberal 9/11 truthers rather than Qanon freaks.
That is the issue with any major public corporation. Its not about making money, or even making a profit. Its about making your “goal” numbers which are always more then last quarter. Its means that publicly owned corporations are forced to always be showing growth. If you are a small growing company, that is not hard…
“that was too mean for today’s easily offended viewers”
Old saying:
The amount of irony in a MAGA conservative complaining about the “easily manipulated mob” could prevent anemia in 100,000 people.
Even for a streaming-focused release, $13,115 is a poor opening weekend, but that doesn’t necessarily mean it’s a financial failure. I don’t know if it costs more to watch it on whatever Shapiro’s streaming service is, or if he’s offering it for no additional charge to try to drive up subscription rates, but it’s conce…
Just a reminder, or a note for people who fortunately do not have internet brain poisoning and don’t have to know these things, Ben Shapiro’s entire ... thing came about because he failed as a Hollywood Screen Writer. Now, he blames the liberal bias in Hollywood for that but... watching the quality of movie he turns…
