I enjoyed the 2014 robocop movie for what it was, a popcorn film that was a bit humourless (which compares negatively to the original). I didn’t really catch the exploration of transhumanism though, could you elaborate please?

Looks like its going to be a pretty loose adaptation. Which is a good thing IMO, since a faithful adaptation most likely wont work for today’s “prestige” TV tone.

D+ grade for a D+ release. Apropos.

Nice video, pairs well with Tom Breihan’s Popcorn Champs column!

Theory (Reddit’s, not mine): Dolores is Wyatt, Hale is Dolores.

I thought the movie was pretty good, but I was puzzled at the sheer amount of hand-to-hand combat in it. Keanu’s no spring chicken, and he’s facing off against some truly talented onscreen fighters (Yayan Ruhian, for example).

Its also possible that Feige doesnt offer up a more robust defense because he has nothing to gain by getting into an argument about movies with one of the greatest movie makers of all time. It doesnt matter what he says, it’s only ever going to be framed as disrespect by websites like this. “Feige SLAMS Scorsese” or

Right! Are we surprised that the woman who kept claiming that she would take what was hers with Fire and Blood, who executed innocents in Mereer because they belonged to the same social class as people who wronged her (the masters), who torched a couple other cities, who burninated the entire leadership of the

The Man from Earth (2007) is another movie worthy of similar consideration. One of my favourite shoestring sci-fi movies.

The Black Panther/Bucky chase scene in Civil War is awesome.

Hah, you failed. you totally did not ruin this movie for me, if anything you made it better.

yeah... I dont think this question really applies to us non-judeo-christian types. I dont know if that says more about the nature of pop culture or the nature of non-judeo-christian types.

Death by schadenfreude is a real problem you guys. You have to take it easy when putting out stories like this.

Terry Crews!

I’m less bothered by your insinuation because the high RT score is reflected in other aggregators as well. Metacritic has it at 87, which counts as universal acclaim, and there’s no “filtering” going on there.

yes, but without any spaces between the words.

Lets not mince words here- without unwavering support from the Republican party, these people wouldn’t have a national voice (“Alt” right, my ass).

Tarantino is reflexively nostalgic, but it would be nice to see a Tarantino-Trek film set after all the TV shows- post DS9/VOY.

They sure are pretty, I'll give you that. But I'm not going to cough up $350 for just pretty.

I've seen cola used as an ingredient in many variations of chinese and korean marinades.
