A lot of people, myself included, only live in cities because that’s where the good jobs lie. If I didn’t have to worry about salary, I’d live somewhere with rural roads to hoon, national or state parks to hike in and a lot of land between me and the neighbor.
Completely agree. Though the whole thing has been a double-edged sword, with the office managers not wanting to give up control/ not trusting people to do at home what they do in the office, and people either doing the right thing at home (if you’re metrics at home match the ones in the office...what’s the problem?)…

Ah, here we go, the classic blame the poor for being lazy. If it was as simple as “get a job for less money to make ends meet” then it would be a pretty easy problem to solve, wouldn’t it? Doesn’t seem to be the case, though. Can you think of some reasons why that might not be the greatest advice?
That still doesn't solve the issue of how they became homeless in the first part. Mental health and addiction are a huge part of the homeless problem, and until we take solving those issues seriously, free housing isn't going to solve much.
