Of course many women bounce back (and I have fortunately), but preg and birth alter the body permanently in some ways. The fact that gobs of women have incontinence problems even years after childbirth proves that. So let's stop throwing around the "myth" word (and your apparent belief that you know all) - you can't

I am so annoyed by the looseness "problem" also. I gave birth to 3 children and if my husband has a problem with this (which he doesn't), he can do a little experiment: push a watermelon out his a$$ and see how tight his parts remain down there. I don't need some single d-bag guy talking to me about women's vaginal

Oh how I long for matriarchy. I nominate Glenn Close as President; Meryl Streep as VP. They had their turn to fuck up the world, why can't it be our's now?

She said she started with contractions immediately after the attack. Any kind of traumatic event can trigger labor late (or even early) in pregnancy. It's truly scary that you had pregnancies and labors without knowing that.

As a mom who pushed out 3 kids (ranging from 6-28 hour labors), thank you. I think lots of men (if JellyFishHead is a woman, she is the dumbest I've heard of) like this get their pregnancy/labor facts from TV.

Um you are so obviously not someone who has ever been pregnant, given birth, or known any woman who has. Labor hits you like a truck and doesn't stop, sometimes for days. Do you get your birth facts from TV shows? Don't. Babies don't pop out in minutes. Even the shortest labors, including those that culminate in

Please shut up and go back to reddit and/or your job at a video game store. Your mom also called, she cleaned your room in her basement and wants to know what you want for dinner tonight.

"Another crazy lunatic. You and sarahMC should start a club and burn dudes in effigy."

I honestly mourned when I found out my first 2 children were girls, because I knew the complicated f-ed up crap they would face, as women, in life. I still feel bad for bringing 2 new females in this world, but am trying to equip them to fight. My son, I know, will have a much easier life.

And all men have a deep hatred for, or at best, apathetic indifference to women and their concerns. Add the fact that men control most power and money and women are screwed.

No, totally not true. It is MEN who have trouble with empathy or feeling for another person. (If you think I'm wrong, just check the stats of who commits violent crimes and who shows sociopathic - ie. unempathetic - tendencies. Overwhelmingly males.)

Thanks for commenting on this article, it made me want to barf. I have 2 daughters, 1 boy, and 1. girls don't innately like pink, sparkles or glitter (ridiculous parents push that crap on their daughters), 2. most girls don't even think ONCE about their weddings - my daughters have mentioned it....(wait for it)...

Ha oh this is classic, as if Southern congressmen should be talking about fat - southern (and midwestern) states are the fattest, most obese of all! I know firsthand, I lived in the South for 7 years. (Shudder) So enjoying living in New England now.

Many of us do not return. I went to Catholic Schools and much of my family is still catholic, but I will NEVER expose my children to the woman-hating, gay-hating, hypocrisy that is the catholic church. It is an evil institution that brainwashes and exploits for money - Vatican a$$wads pretends as if they "hear"

    I SO agree.

So am I the only one annoyed by this? I don't want some overpaid, arrogant idiots (aka most celebrities) to crash my wedding. Why do they just assume anyone WANTS them to be there?

Wow, just wow. What is wrong with women who do this or who profess interest in this? For some insane reason, women turn on each other almost constantly and participate in the victimization of other women.

As a mom of both girls & a boy, I also want to point out that the clothing sold for boys and girls is *dramatically* different and, unless one has a personal dressmaker, you have to rely on the (often ridiculous and revealing) popular styles of the day. I have a lot of trouble finding decent looking, but modest,

Absolutely. I wonder how joking about a "Lynch The Innocent Black Guy" room would work in other workplaces.
