Q: How do you think the press is going to treat this woman?

Mr. Aggressive didn’t give anyone else a chance to do the job - much less a producer who had come on stage, Jimmy who had come on stage, or the last speaker..?

thank you. that jarred me, too. dude was classy and straightforward, especially given how much that would have sucked. its a super dick move for rich to jump on the la la land folks just cos he doesnt think the movie deserved to win. unnecessarily catty and lame, and disingenuous to boot.

basically yelling into the microphone as if he was elected to do the job

Seriously.

The way he grabbed the envelope from Beatty was kind of a dickish move.

Also, it wasn’t Horowitz’s job to straighten that shit out! But the producers and Kimmel and the accountants and the announcers all seemed to get a collective fit of the vapors and time was ticking so Horowitz stepped up and got shit done. This is a good character trait. We want these sorts of people around when

Yeah, I thought the Lala Land producers handled it with exceptional grace. They took it on themselves to announce that they hadn’t won, quickly got out the message that Moonlight had won, and tried to reassure the Moonlight team that this was all real and they should get up on stage. Like that’s a lot of crazy in

Moonlight: Best Picture,” spat Horowitz.

I think pretty much everyone famous and non loves or just genuinely likes Adele. Even if they’re not into her music.

She could have tried to uncomfortably muddle through the rest of the song, but she chose to go back and start fresh even if it meant possibly being ridiculed on the internet by nobodies. I really admire that. And I think George Michael probably thought the tribute was awesome and loved the arrangement of Fastlove.

People who complain that Adele made it about her are actually the ones guilty of taking the focus off of George Michael.

I love that someone yelled “you got this”. There was some serious support going on in that room.

If this had been a Taylor Swift or someone else who does indeed make everything about themselves, then I would kind of understand that perspective. But it was Adele, who isn’t particularly an attention whore, and would probably be quite happy to sincerely tell the whole world to go fuck themselves. So more likely she

Nevertheless, she persisted.

Performing is hard! Sheesh, everyone’s a critic.

Well, she is continuously adding to her mythology. She has created spectacles around her pregnant body this time and I think it is a clap back to the rumours about her first pregnancy (i.e. inflatable stomach, surrogate, etc. etc.).

Long live the Queen!

i think i held my breath the entire time that chair leaned back, i get what she was going for but it made me a little nervous. it was a beautiful performance.
