@SmallbutMighty: Me too! Mostly because I have totally rolled off those stupid balls several times in classes at the gym, and then I'm laughing too hard at myself to even try to sit back on it.

They showed the Wizard of Oz the first summer they did Screen on the Green in DC (the outdoor summer movie series) - it was amazing! Thousands of people were singing along to every song, people were cheering at Dorothy and the Good Witch and booing at the Wicked Witch. So much fun. I loved the movie before that but

So are they also going after Funny or Die and Stephen Colbert for making parodies (which are both pretty hysterical)? It seems to me that if they thought they had a legitimate case they would try, but that because they know it's bunk they'll only threaten youtube (because of their aforementioned CYA policy).

My boss is pretty prominent in his field and is in the press a lot - you can't even imagine the madness that people send him. I always wonder what motivates a person to sit down, write a crazy rant, and then hit send? I generally cut and paste the best parts into my gchat status for my friends' enjoyment.

@Hamsterpants: For me it was Skinemax after my parents went to bed, and the porn we found in my friend's newly divorced dad's house. You can learn a lot from The Devil in Miss Jones.

This is like a vision from the future: I always thought Baba Wawa was the real Benjamin Button.

Awww, I still love you, man.

Theoretically British accents on hipsters might make me hate them less, but somehow I don't think that's true. Especially at Topshop if they are trying to make me buy a polka dot fanny pack.

Manhandle?

@beatrice2000: I waited on her once, and she seemed to be a lot like her character in that movie. "Should I get the soup before the frisee salad or the frisee salad before the soup? They're both appetizers. I don't know, what do you think? I can't decide." Um, yeah.

Totally off topic, but is anyone else as disappointed with the Mango that opened in SoHo as I am? I have memories (granted, from 10 years ago) of loving Mango when I studied abroad, and I was totally psyched when I saw that one was opening here... but alas, it's not even remotely what I remembered. Was my 19-year-old

@ellaesther: I just watched again last night Triumph the Insult Comic Dog at the RNC this year - if you haven't seen it, Anderson Cooper is AWESOME. Swoon.

@Kali Mama: I'm no shrink, but I'm not sure about that... my ex used to always say that the reason we got so f*cking furious and wanted to strangle each other was because we loved each other so much. Turns out, it was really because I hated him. Unfortunately I didn't figure this out for way too many soul-crushing

@truckasaurus: But people in those backwater towns believed that - thanks to Cheney and Co. I was living in DC at the time, had friends who worked in the Senate office buildings that were closed down because of anthrax, and received a lot of mail three weeks late and yellow from the irradiation. But on the local news

OMG! That picture with the post was my facebook picture for about a year. I NEVER got any random friend requests... what does that say? (Probably nothing)

I saw him at a small place here in New York before the show at the Apollo, and that bit above did NOT go over well with a large table of black women. The bouncer even came over to them at one point to tell them to be quiet. I have to say, he just seemed angry, and some of the jokes were really dark and not that
