We need to fix revenue-through-fines. It’s an unconscionable conflict of interest.

All of those tickets are bullshit. How do other states manage without having such a stupid law in place? That’s right, they simply don’t make a big deal about it because, get this, it’s no big deal.

Building a 682-hp luxury SUV took more than just slapping a supercharger on an Escalade.

Based on the few people I’ve met that bought (leased?) an Escalade new, I’d bet they’ll be some of the loudest complainers about the cost of gas prices. My confidence in that grows if they are anything like the other luxury truck/SUV suburbanites I’ve known over the years.

But then Maserati, Alfa Romeo, and Jaguar wouldn’t be luxury brands.

The etymology of the word is not surprising:

The idea that Americans are lazy and soft, and America is going downhill because of it, has been a talking point on the political right for decades. Often there’s a subtext that it’s “other” Americans who are the problem, not the target audience of whoever’s doing the talking. “You guys are the good guys, it’s just

Thing is.. this sort of work ethic exists in America. I’ve seen it. Many times. But there has to be a reason other than “the CEO wants to make more money”

The plane landed the ATC and the passenger gave instructions.

Be careful what you wish for. I’ve been in that position and it felt like anything but a sabbatical.

Real boats in a fake marina with fake water next to a real restaurant at a real F1 race?

Why can’t I stop staring at that photo? It’s horrifying, but I can’t look away.

So a couple decades I was working for one of the largest companies in the world. 2 days before Christmas, the GM of our little office came to us with this news:

An above ground marina is the perfect symbol for the amalgamation of the classiness of F1 and the classiness of Florida.

I always enjoyed your writing, Bradley. Even when I disagreed with your opinion. Especially when I disagreed with your opinion. Especially when lots of people disagreed with your opinion and you still defended it into the comments. You definitely were not wrong 2,430 times. But you did write 2,430 entertaining posts.

It’s a damn shame Nissan basically treated the US market in the late 80s and 90s like a red-headed stepchild.

It’s largely because these guys grew up listening to their dads and grandads joke about being bullying assholes and pulling stunts like this, and how the sheriff would give it a wink and a nod and do nothing, and it would just be a funny story to tell later.

1: Do asshole thing and show it for all to see.

I love how that author implies that being a working-class white person is the same thing as being a troll that chants anti-Biden slogans and waves flags that represent violently supporting slavery. Really shows you what “conservative values” actually stand for: racism and trolling the libs.

NASCAR is dying because you can’t fly the Confederate flag or cuss out the president at a NASCAR race?
