I think this is a fair take on unionization, and IMO the real solution, which unfortunately is basically untenable in the US atm is significantly increased standards and enforcement against those standards placed directly by the federal government. But because govs aren’t willing to step in, and really haven’t been

So there are admittedly some niche (think accessibility challenged or heavily encumbered folk like astronauts) uses for the falcon doors, but as a Model Y owner, legitimately the horror stories with those doors on the X was the #1 reason I went with the smaller hatch (also with a third row the storage difference is

Yeah, it just was a serious judgement error by Lando. Even Lewis stayed out too long, but his team definitely did what they needed to to convince him to come in the second time. Good news is that the McLaren clearly is damn near impossible to pass if they can qualify well for the rest of the season.

Sucks for lando indeed. Both him and Lewis overrode team the first time, but Merc proceeded to convince him and while McLaren seemed to give in. Huge kudos to Merc and Redbull on the right strategy call even when drivers were wrong.

Considering this thing steers by variation of the speed of each track, it actually makes quite a bit more sense than in a normal car. Planes use yokes as well for similar (enough) reasons.

Well yes it does.

On the plus side, he had the best memeable moment ever as a result

Also literally twice the EPA fuel economy rating.

Now, these analysts are right that the EcoSport was never right for America, mainly because it has “Eco” in its name, but also because it isn’t a $40,000 SUV.

Absolutely awful vehicle. Hell, it had far worse fuel economy even than the larger brothers. Nothing was eco about it.

So... funny thing... while ‘for all intensive purposes’ is a folk etymology, if the goal is to say ‘basically’ or ‘mostly’ or ‘as far as is reasonably applicable’, at least ‘for all intensive purposes’ makes sense in that context. ‘for all intents and purposes’ from the moment of its inception (an edict of Henry VIII)

Two kids... Frankly trucks are awful at roadtrips without a trailer, which defeats the whole point. Rear passengers get shafted, rear ‘cargo space’ isn’t even that good (vertical height matters) unless you put a truck topper on, in which case have fun climbing in and bending over to reach stuff as you waddle back and

Okay, now it’s my turn to be that person. Ford is not ‘all but’ giving up on India. They appear to be giving up on India. This is like those awful awful people who use ‘for all intents and purposes’ to mean ‘basically’ even though it means ‘for ALL intents and purposes’ forever and always.

Ford Fusion Hybrid. Best engine in the car (smooth, quiet, decent electric pep at low speed), constantly overshadowed by Camry and Accord, and thus immensely affordable as a CPO. Not fast, nothing special interior. Not best in class anything (even fuel economy), but 100k miles later at 44 MPG with a decent looking car

This sucked. Enough said.

Not saying mistakes couldn’t happen, but with how much better Norris waa driving relative to his cars limits, it seems almost a given he would have taken pole.

This, and either lost or burnt would be a competitive advantage by weight and power increase, which is quite exactly why the rules have no such exceptions.

I want an automatic, I can drive stick, it sucks and is not more fun (to me) in basically every single situation I’ve tried it in. The best case is a track when I’m doing the same thing over and over again and getting into a rhythm of it... but honestly... stick is just NOT FUN (to me). Oh, I am left handed, love CVTs

Or Grosjean’s incident where it saved his head from being sheared off....

That would be a 500k Purosange.
