Yep. We just got my son an NES clone to play all of my old cartridges (my original NES had developed the bad habit of fuzzing out and acting crazy). I just spent 10 minutes having to explain all of the mechanics of Mario 2 to him, because I picked it up at a garage sale years ago with no manual. There is absolutely

Preach it! Amen! Halleluuuuujah!

I’m the parent of a special needs/medically fragile girl, so I don’t even give games like Destiny a second look. Essentially, if I can’t pause it, I can’t play it. I love games, but I’ve completely missed anything multiplayer for that reason.

Don’t get me wrong. I’m a bookworm. I absolutely adore reading, just apparently not classic English novels like Ivanhoe and Pride and Predjudice and Return of the Native. *shudder*

15 years ago, SparkNotes (at the time it was just a website) literally got me through my English Novel class in college. I used to download the guides and put them on my Palm V so I could follow the class discussions and lectures. If memory serves, I got a B+ without reading all but the first part of Ivanhoe.

Thanks for proving my point! Toodles

(Facepalm) I made a comment about being glad to finally filter all things Trump from my Feedly feed, and your response was to recommend that just ignore all of the hyperventilating by all of the liberals on blogs (not to mention Facebook, evening news, etc.). Perhaps I should become a monk for the next four years!

No, BIMing and I were having a discussion. You pivoted right to shutting me down as soon as I disagreed with your point.

You’re probably right. This has been an excellent reminder of why I rarely participate in discussions.

This actually proves the point. Lifehacker didn’t post an article about Obamacare until it actually passed!

“which is a pretty big deal.” Is it? Maybe if America was a dictatorship. Trump doesn’t write tax policy, congress does. He can propose stuff all he wants, but kind of like the budgets that Obama used to submit, it’s all just rhetoric. Now, if the painfully disfunctional legislative branch actually gets their act

(Combined with Feedly’s email this morning asking for feedback concerning the new feature to filter your feed)

Probably a straw+camel’s back kinda thing....

Simple, I expect the kind of broad coverage that Lifehacker used to provide. Do you remember all of the articles back when Obamacare was being debated? How about the deluge of articles talking about Obama’s response (or lack thereof) to Syria. How about the crisis in Ukraine? Did we get any articles explaining how we

I’m really excited about Feedly’s new feature coming up that will let people filter posts out of their feed by keywords! Over the years, I have loved following Lifehacker, but getting really tired of the politics stuff. It’ll be nice to filter out all posts with the word “Trump”.....

I find the difficulty discussion to be fascinating. I personally appreciated the health kit recharges and didn’t even notice the invincibility frames. What’s interesting to me is that watching videos of other people play (even your GIF up there) usually has me staring at the screen trying to figure out why in heaven’s
