Man, going from Lizzy Caplan to Jennifer Garner is...rough.

I, myself, prefer to credit that to Hideki.

Back in college we had a 90s party that included what we called playlist roulette. The playlist had hundreds of songs, but it included several duplicates of Tubthumping, and anytime the song played you had to take a shot of whiskey, a shot of vodka, a shot of beer, and a shot of cider. Fortunately it only played three

I didn’t get the hype either, to the point that rather than watch the last few episodes I just read the recaps to see what happened. And I’m usually a completist. The show just never connected with me outside of a few moments, all of which were pre-pandemic or the early portion of it. Did not care even slightly about

Packers “ownership”: The original NFT.

Oh shit, new Todd Field?! Finally.

I tell ya hwat man, talkin’ bout this seems like a dang ol’ bad idea, you know, the original run already ran its dang ol’ course, man, talkin’ bout different climate and hwatnot, no dang ol’ Luanne or Lucky either, man, just can’t see this workin’ out, I tell ya hwat.

Jeni does good work, but even as an ice cream junkie I can’t go to $17 a pint after shipping. The bougie pints at my favorite spot are $11 for similar quality and the benefit of buying local.

I wish I had more faith that Showtime wasn’t gonna Showtime, because I really enjoyed this season. It kept me off balance in a way that few shows have managed to do, featured an impressive number and variety of standout moments, and managed to make me cackle on a regular basis.

I did not know that fuel has such a short shelf life until The Last Man On Earth made it a plot point (that the writers proceeded to completely ignore)

I cannot abide shredded coconut in any other application, but I will fuck a box of Samoas all the way up. Thin Mints would be the best of the rest, for me. I can’t remember the last time I had any other kind.

You’re one of the good ones. Thanks for everything.

Party on, contest winners...party on.

There’s also a version called Absurdle that I find more interesting and challenging. From the website:

As soon as I learned he would be playing near me and joined by Emo Philips, I bought a ticket. I passed on a chance to see him backed by a symphony back in pre-plague times, wasn’t making that mistake again.

Ah, bishlamek gurpgork...

My Trader Joe’s seems to have stopped carrying Kringles as I haven’t seen any there in months, and I can’t bring myself to pay more than double the price (plus shipping) to get them direct from the source.

The price is on the can, though.
