As ever, fanboys need to fuck off. Literally no one gives the slightest shit about their entitled whining except others of their pathetic ilk.

For basically my entire childhood, there was a lone can of Piels in the basement fridge at my grandfather’s house. No one knew why, and it became a running joke whenever we’d be there for a holiday or whatever and the booze ran out. “There’s always the Piels!”

When he died several years ago, I went with my siblings and

Sweet and savory is the alpha and omega of flavor profiles.

it is

Only if you use it as an excuse to avoid putting effort into anything.

For England, James?

Whether it’s the generational aspect that Sean mentions or not (I was born in 1987, but I do remember growing up with the cartoon), I honestly don’t find the original to be some kind of unimpeachable masterpiece. It’s just...fine. The reboot was okay. I don’t feel the need to ever see either film again.

Just finished watching the show after (surprise) only hearing about it because it got cancelled. Sam Richardson kills it and I dug most of the show’s aesthetic, but I hated Tim’s character and that’s sorta a problem when he’s one of the two leads.

Finally gave And Nothing Hurt a spin and it’s great. I can’t stop listening to The Morning After. And yeah, they’re excellent live; got to see them open for The Flaming Lips a few years back and ended up enjoying them more.

I do not object in the slightest to foie gras because 1) it is fucking delicious and 2) I feel no compunction over the treatment of geese, for they are hellspawned shitbirds.

Counter-counter-counterpoint: Nah.

I have this weird habit of not listening to Kanye’s albums until years after they’ve been released (cf. the fact that I spent a chunk of early 2013 obsessively listening to My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy), which continued this year when I finally sat down and listened to Yeezus and Life of Pablo. Liked the former

IT WORKS ON SO MANY LEVELS!
