I think you replied to the wrong person. I don’t do hate-filled tirades. I’m pretty sure the comment I wrote explained to you the difference between resistance and oppression, and I may have mocked you for trying to paint yourself and the side you’re taking in this argument as the victims despite literal generations

If you dislike someone because of their race, you’re racist

Not my blanket, brother man. You’re bitching about a handful of queers expressing petty satisfaction at the thought of a bunch of neckbeards squirming with Gay Panic. You laid a ‘all hate is hate’ blanket on a bunch of ‘tee hee hee’ tweets.’ You’re the one both-sides-ing, say, Matthew Shepard and a tweet celebrating

#DIV/0! yards per game

Really funny piece.

This is legit a great idea. Invite whatever few tiny island nations in CONCACAF didn’t finish higher than USMNT in the qualifying rounds, and, like, Gibraltar or whoever. Call it Copa Invitacional. Make Mexico pay for it. This idea has US Soccer written all over it.

My point is that, colloquially in the context of player wages in major sports, saying “10m salary” or “10m annual salary” mean the same thing.

Those with privilege “hating” those without it is oppression. Those without privilege “hating” their oppressors is resistance. That straight white men (like you, perhaps) resent not being at the top of the food chain 100% of the time doesn’t mean resisters are victimizers.

[duplicate comment, apologies]

So, first off: Instead of assuming someone else doesn’t know what they’re talking about or is a straight up-liar, consider how your brains might simply process information differently.

Cairo Santos, Connor Barth, and Mike Nugent

I swear I’m not just one of those jagoffs who always carries water for capital vs labor via my sports fandom.

There’s no really good reason why these truck drivers would do this, other than to be jackasses and piss people off, especially people they see as “green.”

It’s very popular in Boston among service industry workers as an after work shot

“Next time we’ll just stop the game ourselves. Even if that means having the result awarded against us.”

My first thought. And that was a guy who did nothing but win. I actually lost a bet with my buddy some years ago; he’s a dyed in the wool Cowboys fan and I bet him that Kellen Moore would win an NFL playoff game by, like, 2016? I have no idea now. Anyway, yeah, good call by you.
