Judging from the reaction here, I must be in the minority - but at some point in my mid-20's (~10 years ago) I re-watched The Dark Crystal for the first time since childhood and felt quite strongly that it didn’t hold up. I’ve been advising folks of our generation to avoid it if possible ever since.
