Agreed... whenever the wife and I want to cook something different or special, we end up with a lot of unused ingredients. Also, these boxes (we use Hello Fresh) open us up to different types of dishes we wouldn’t otherwise consider, and most times they end up being delicious.

Well, it was according to Android Central. They’ve since updated their article to mention that it’s going to be the default, and not specifically that it will be the only navigation method.

Guess I spoke too soon. Pixel 3s will ship without the legacy navigation and only have the gesture navigation. Third parties can still do the legacy navigation, however. 

That’s strange, considering Google Pay Send (and previously Wallet) was always available prior to being merged...

Gesture control is an option that is off by default. There’s no need to skin Android P to keep the soft buttons (for now).
